Called looking for late night repairs and was unfortunately not successful at getting repairs completed at that time however did make an appointment for the following evening when we met John. He was on-time, very knowledgeable and experienced as well as professional. Arrived on-time as promised and got the job completed within the time frame quoted. Pricing was good and if we need anything going forward will definitely be using precision for our garage door services.

The spring on our large garage door broke. We have a Precision sticker on the inside of a canine door in the laundry room left from previous service, so I called and got on the schedule. Arnold came at the anticipated time, was friendly and efficient, had the necessary spring in his truck, and fixed our door. He also made some keen observations about loose wheel trolley bolts and fixed all of that.

Chris replaced part Genie had sent to me. We worked on trying to set up WiFi connection & called Aladdin helpline but it still wasn’t connecting. After Chris left, I saw in Aladdin troubleshooting to disconnect my phone’s cellular data & try to set up. (I was not told to do that by helpline person or Chris). That worked. Please let Chris know to make sure a phone’s cellular data is turned off before trying to set up WiFi.

Truthfully, I had had a different garage door installer come and motorize the door I had because I had had the door fall on my fingers when they changed us to using a garbage container the door fell, and my fingers were caught between the sections. So I called a different garage door company to motorize it so I wouldn’t have to worry about it falling on me when I try to open or close it. As it turned out precision garage doors are the ones I really wanted to work on it, so I called them to fix what had been done by the previous garage door company. The people that came were awesome. They helped with putting my garage items back as they were when they came. I opted for a door replacement, actually less money than the first company had charged me for the work they did.

I had a persistent squeak in our garage door that continued even after I thoroughly lubricated everything I knew off. After contacting Precision Door, the repairman (Chris) was able to quickly diagnose the exact location where the squeak came from (between the springs). I was impressed!

Matt arrived on time, explained my options, and easily installed my new garage door opener (which works more quietly than my previous one). He set up my remote within my car, and gave me separate ones for my daughter and me (when I am riding with someone else and want to reenter my house). If I ever need service on my garage door, I will ask for Mike, but he did such a good job that I doubt I will ever need him again for MANY years!
