Performance Review for Mr. Josue Lombay – Precision Garage Door It was my pleasure — and truly an honor — to meet your service technician, Mr. Josue Lombay. He called just after 8:00 AM to let me know he was on his way, a simple courtesy that already set a professional tone for the visit. He arrived promptly, greeted me respectfully, and got right to work assessing the issue with my garage door spring. As we reviewed the problem together, Mr. Lombay pointed out a few additional concerns, taking the time to show me each one clearly. I appreciated his honesty and his ability to explain everything in a way that made sense. I also liked learning about the upgrades he installed — especially the sealed wheel bearings, which are a real advantage in our Florida climate. I had a light issue as well, and he adjusted it quickly and efficiently. We replaced the battery, and before I knew it, he had completed all the work. He arrived shortly after 8 AM and was finished by 10:15 — timely, organized, and thorough. Mr. Lombay is a fine young man: professional, clean, neat in his work, and exceptionally courteous. Precision Garage Door has always impressed me — from the original installation years ago to every interaction since — but meeting Mr. Lombay was a true pleasure. Far exceeded expectations, especially given I had an issue on a Sunday! Had this company install a new overhead garage door opening system in May of 2025. Had multiple errors today (closing and opening force), I couldn’t trouble shoot so called for support. Sent out a rep (Josue) who arrived ahead of scheduled time, determined it was a product issue, and replace the entire system right on the spot -(was covered by 3 year warranty). I went into this thinking it would be stressful but was easiest thing I’ve had to deal with. Great service, work, and customer service.

I had a tech, Josue, check my garage door opener. Remote began to work intermittently. The system was 24 years old. Josue confirmed my concern before I shared it with him, a bad receiver/board. Instead of finding a replacement board for this older model and fixing it myself, I decided to replace the entire garage door opener system. He had systems in van which eliminated the need to reschedule another date for install. He was informative, patient, professional, and answered all my questions. He installed it in no time. Much quieter and working great!!!

I attempted to save some money and install my garage door opener myself until I realized that there are just some things I should leave to the professionals. I called Precision and I received same day service. Jouse Lombay called me very early in the morning to inform me that he was twenty minutes out. When he arrived he was very professional, greeted me and asked me what the problem was. After giving him my novice description of what the issue was. He asked permission to explore the issue. Jouse came prepared with everything necessary to solve the issue and he proceeded to give me an estimate. He explained to me why I needed new springs even though I had not thought about it. He explained that my springs were no longer functional and would eventually cost me my new garage opener. I saw reason in it and agreed and he installed my new pair of springs. He also allowed me to pick his brain about other aspects of the business and even showed me how to connect my phone and my car to my new garage opener. I’m not sure why I did not call Precision sooner, but now that I have, I won’t be calling anyone else. Thank you for a job well done!

Very nice tech…..but…..both garage doors were opening and closing at random times through the day. Tech assured me that the boards were fried and the head units needed to be replaced. The units were older so plausible that replacement might be necessary. I trusted his judgement. He got done with the replacement and the garage doors started to go up and down again with the new unit installed. After realizing that he may not be as knowledgeable and trustworthy as I thought, I checked on the price and there is a 200% mark up. I clearly go taken to the cleaners with these guys. I am beside myself that I got taken advantage of by a company that I’ve used several times before without issue……I think……they probably overcharged me then as well…..be careful……
