My experience with Precision started just over 2 years ago. Brian installed a new spring just over 2 years ago and he came out again when I requested a "maintenance" check on noises I was hearing. He said it was just the chain drive and everything looked fine, for a 10 year old motor. He lubed everything and covered it under the warranty. Great personnel and service, for sure. Just a few weeks after my 2 year warranty ran out, we had a power outage in the neighborhood and I opened the door manually, but it would not stay up. My neighbor held it opened for me to back my car out of the garage. I called Precision and Isak came out and adjusted the spring so that it stays open now when opened manually. He also checked everything, lubed, and was very courteous, friendly, and professional. Precision is an A1 company!

Isak was very nice and friendly. We needed the button repaired that is inside the garage, that opens/closes the garage door. He did it quickly and professionally. He told me that, if we sold our house and an inspection was needed, we would have to replace the motor so we had sensors at the bottom of the door. I thanked him so much for the warning. It would have been a big surprise to us should our house sell. He was very knowledgeable. He knew the rollers on the door had been changed within the last few years - I did not remember that but when I told my husband, he remembered. I would ask for Isak next time!!

I wrote a review earlier with a 1-star rating. Well, I have to eat my words. They called and came back and even though they don't represent Lenear Garage door openers any longer, they honored the life-time warranty and installed a new rail and belt at no cost. Technically, even with a life-time warranty, I'm responsible for contacting the manufacturer and getting the part, and I would have been responsible for the labor to install (I was unaware of this the first time I wrote my review). But since they didn't repair the unit on their first visit, they did all of the work at no cost. Both technicians were helpful and knowledgeable. I couldn't be more satisfied. Thanks, Ralph
