I seldom write reviews, but after the work performed by Joshua F. and Precision Overhead Garage Door of Tampa, I knew I had to take the time to write about the amazing and seamless experience. Had an issue with the garage door last night where the screw that holds the door broke when the door was being opened. The door came down since there was nothing supporting the weight. I called Precision last night and was able to immediately schedule and appointment for the new day (today). Joshua F. did an awesome job. He took the time to inspect the door, explain the issue, show me what needed to be done and why, and provide me with a couple of options. He was very professional and I definitely recommend him and Precision for any garage repair needs.

This company is great. I just bought my home a week ago and the garage door spring broke. I had concerns about other parts and the opener too. I contacted Precision because the safety sensor was out of alignment. $1500 dollars later I have a completely new system and I am not sure that a completely new system was required.

David Crowe was dishonest and lazy. He tried to upsell me a new opener for $795. rather the troubleshoot the unit. I refused to accept his recommendation for replacement. I had a competitor come out and they replace a $40 part. The collar on the shaft had broken. Ripping off senior citizens. David you should be ashamed of yourself. Precision Is this the kind of guy you want working for you?

I am a new customer. Last night I could not close my garage door due to the opener not working right. I had your advertisement that was in the value pack envelope that comes from time to time. So I called for help and none was available until this morning. I was able to finally close the door last night. I got excellent service from my tech, Jim Johnson, who took 2 hours to repair old things and brought the whole unit up to present day needs. He did a fantastic job never stopping for a moment. He knew what he was doing and explained everything to me. I am very pleased with the service and was told what I need to do to service the garage door every 6 months with spray. I had no idea that it needed to be serviced and since the house was built in 1992 it needed a lot of care. I am very pleased with everything and will use Precision for future needs.

After paying $884 for a repair I researched and found out your company is defrauding the public by selling parts that are needed for a simple repair. Another company came out and told me about shady business practices. Also saw a Dateline special about your techs, which ate actually "sales driven" associates presenting options for a repair. Shame on me for not doing my homework and researching your company before hiring, but shame you for thriving on deceptive business practices. I simply needed to repair a garage door panel and you sales guy, very nice and friendly, said the only way to fix the door was by replacing a bunch of unecessary parts. I'm surprised there isn’t a class action suit against your company for deceptive business.
