I needed a garage door opener replaced. I called at about 1 pm on a Saturday and the job was done by 6 pm. I received fast and professional service by a friendly tech named Jorge. The price was rather high, however. I got a low-end 1/2 HP Genie (belt driven, one light) opener that sells for $140 at Walmart, and was charged $1080 for the job. That's $940 for installation. All existing wiring was reused from my old Craftsman opener. Precision gave me friendly, professional, and speedy service, but it came at a hefty price. Follow up: In 2 days, the opener failed to work. I called Precision and within a few hours, they efficiently sent another tech named Chad to check out what was wrong. He determined that the electronic Safe-T-Beam "eye" at the base of the door was defective, he replaced the hardware, relocated its position closer to the floor and got the opener working again. When he offered to adjust the tightness of the spring for the standard fee of about $90, I commented that the price of installation should include an adjustment like this, but he said it did not. I then asked if the current spring tension would damage the opener, and was told probably not, but it was up to me. So I declined. Bottom line: Although the price structure of this company is on the high end of things, you get prompt, professional service even when a problem develops. Final comment: I do think the adjustment of the spring (if it was needed for the proper working of the opener) should be included in the $940 install fee.

Cheney at Precision Garage did a fantastic job repairing my mom’s garage door. Even though it was the spring that was broken, there were other parts that contributed. He told me exactly which parts should be replaced right now, and which seemed like they were in good shape for the future. Everything came with a three year warranty for added peace of mind and the prices were reasonable. If you need work on your garage door, ask for Cheney!

I had Precision Garage Door come to my home for a door tune-up. The young man, Camden, arrived on time, very personable, knowledgeable and professional. He did the tune-up and advised me that my door was in good shape, however in the future I might need some wires replaced as mine were over 20 years old. I asked for the price, which was very reasonable and told him to go ahead and replace them now. In a very short time he finished the repair. Chad was very polite and courteous. He listened to me about our issue and thoroughly explained what needed to be done. Our issues were resolved rather quickly and completely. His attention to detail is exceptional. We will be getting a second door opener in the near future and will gladly have him come back to do the install. When companies have employees like this that approach each task individually and start a relationship between them and the customers are the types of companies that will survive against the competition every time. The initial call was pleasantly surprised. No answering service to press one or something and actual person answered professionally and within minutes had set an appointment for that afternoon. The Tech arrived within the window as scheduled was very professional and quickly gave me options to repair what I had or upgrade to better set up. I chose to take the upgrade and when I told him that would not be available for 2 days for him to get materials he told me he has everything needed on his truck and can be done today. In about 2 hours. This was fantastic quality same day service. This doesn't happen much today. Great company great Technician. Keep up the great work.
