Chris Johnson was amazing! I clipped my garage door backing out this morning and our garage door was not stable. I called Precision garage at 4:30pm and they came out by 5:40pm. Chris assessed the garage and performed a quick fix. He also gave me a reasonable quote for a new garage door in the future. Didn’t realize our garage door is 23 years old! Chris placed 3 shiny bolts to reinforce the door and when we are ready for a new door I will be calling Precision! Professional, reliable, honest, dependable, with excellent customer service. James Long, the technician, arrived at my house on or about 4pm today and installed an Operator Reinforcement Bracket 18". He quoted a price of $206.00 plus $20.00 Fleet Transportation Fee for a total of $226.00. I had a printed coupon discount of $15.00 that I printed from Precision Door Service Website. So, the final total amounted to $211.00. The technician performed an excellent job and was professional and courteous. My one concern was the cost of the bracket. On Amazon.com, the price of similar bracket cost $30.00. When this cost is deducted from $206.00, the balance is $176.00. The installation took about 30 minutes to install. I felt that the labor cost is excessively high for a 30 minute job. But I needed to have it repaired so I agreed. Also, what is the Fleet Transportation Fee of $20.00? If it wasn't for the excessively high labor fee, I would have given this survey a 5 star.

Hi The service tech listened to the problem I was having and explained what he thought was going on. He was very professional in every way. In a short time he let me know it was what we had talked about. At the same time he let me know of other repairs that were needed. I gave him the OK to take care of the main problem and he gave me a list of repairs still needed. He was very thorough in finishing the repair and asked if I had any questions. Isak was very nice and friendly. We needed the button repaired that is inside the garage, that opens/closes the garage door. He did it quickly and professionally. He told me that, if we sold our house and an inspection was needed, we would have to replace the motor so we had sensors at the bottom of the door. I thanked him so much for the warning. It would have been a big surprise to us should our house sell. He was very knowledgeable. He knew the rollers on the door had been changed within the last few years - I did not remember that but when I told my husband, he remembered. I would ask for Isak next time!!

I would like to commend Charles Sherwood your loyal and trustworthy service technician. For unknown reasons ( one in a million) he attempted to get three outside garage door openers to work to no avail. The GM indicated he had on seen this happen once in 20 years. Bottom line I got a new garage door opener only. So now have one for each car and they work. Sin$1,000ce the internal garage door motor is still functioning with the remotes we decided not to replace the external opener as they were very honest and informed me it would cost around $300 to possibly replace circuit board on the opener or the motor around $1,000. I decided to wait until the motor fails and I will call them back to replace. This is a very ethical, honest, quick and trustworthy company and it definitely came thru in the person of Charles Sherwood. Don't let him get away.
