I've used Precision before and found them to be competent reasonable and efficient. I had a problem installing my opener on my wife's new car and called Precision because I've a good experience in the past. Unfortunately my suspicions were right and the old opener (10 years) was incompatible with the new technology and had to be replaced. The technician had the equipment, was able to replace it in less than an hour at a reasonable price.

Sunday is not the best day to have any kind of issue with your garage and particularly when it is stuck halfway open and will neither open or close...……since you've backed your car into it..... Mike was certainly professional,courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and assured me he'd be able to fix/repair it and did so! Precision and Mike totally met my expectations and actually exceeded them! Started out as a single car garage spring needing replaced for $120 or i could pay more if I wanted a 5 year green spring. When technician arrived, he noticed cables were missing. I asked for a quote, but he wanted to measure spring first. I went ahead and called spring guy I use in Jax (Casey) and he said shouldn’t be an up charge. He says same amount of labor whether replacing cables or not and materials under $10. When I went back outside, the tech quoted me $100 for cables. When I pushed back, he asked his boss what they could do and lowered $100 down to $40. When I verbally confirmed The green spring would be warranted for 5 years, the technician said they wouldn’t warrant spring because other components weren’t new and would impact life expectancy of spring of ALL components weren’t replaced. I kindly asked him to leave.

Robert was delightful, efficient, explanatory and helpful. Our original garage door equipment simply wore out after 32 yrs, and to our shock we suddenly found we could not open the garage door! this was a panicky experience given it was late friday afternoon with only 2 working days before Christmas. We are so grateful Precision had a technician available on such short notice - Robert was at our house within 2 hrs and the door was back working within 5 hrs. Robert explained every option to us and did not pressure us toward any. We are very grateful to him and to Precision for helping us in what could have been a big problem for the holiday.

Shane completed a through inspection on my garage door. He found and repaired the problem, repaired it and was gone inside 30 minutes. The best part is I called the day before about 4:30 and he was out early the next morning. No 2 or 3 days waiting.

I called Precision, because it was listed in the Five Star Rated guide for Hillsborough County. My garage door would not close by either remote (but it would open). Mike arrived promptly and noticed (coincidentally) that one of my 20-year-old springs had broken, so that had to be replaced. He quoted me a price to fix my also 20-year-old garage door opener, but it seemed to make more logical sense to replace that unit, too. So, I ended up having a much larger bill than I'd thought when I called Precision, but 20 years is also a long time to have a system. Mike was very friendly and efficient, replacing the garage door opener, both springs, and the 10 roller wheels in the rails in only about 2 hours. He also programmed my car remote for me and gave me a quick education on the new system. I felt very confident in his ability. My new system is so quiet that I have to double-check that it's actually opening after I press the garage door opener!

Called them out on a Saturday they arrived in 2 hours. I guess the cable gear on the side of the door ceased up. I had bought some type of Warranty when they replaced my motor a couple years ago and it was covered. Fast service and fixed within 1 hour of arriving.

I was so impressed with the techs Austin and Brian. Did a great job very professional courteous and knew what needed to be done and did it. I am glad I called Precision Doors to do this work.
