Opened my garage on Sunday morning and it only opened about 2 feet? Called Precision and to my surprise they were open and would get a technician out to me later in the day. Chris arrive at my house around 4pm and quickly diagnose the problem. A broken spring, he gave me a quote for repairs and once I approved he had the job completed in under an hour. Great work! My wife was happy she could get her car out of the garage.

I just came home from finalizing funeral arrangements for my husband. I went to open my garage door when something popped in the garage door opener. I called Precision Door Service as I would not use any other service. The tech came out as promised. My wife and I own 10 houses and have used your services on multiple occasions. The people sent out seem to be very knowledgeable and professional. A courtesy call is always made by the Service Tech to let you know they are on their way and give you an ETA, and we find that quite helpful since we don't live at each location. During our last service the Tech came up with multiple options to solve our problem and we chose which way to go. Chris Wyckoff did an amazing job. Needed a new opener & updated rail system. Chris patiently and thoroughly explained all my options. When he completed the job, he walked me through the operation of my new opener and we tested it. During the test, Chris noticed a grinding noise caused by one of the wheels and replaced the wheel. No more noise! He even provided me with his card in case I had further questions or issues Unfortunately, my budget would not allowed for a new garage door. But if I can come up with additional funds, I will definitely be asking for Chris as my installer. What Precision says is their TV ads is 100% true!

Tech is not able to explain all he wanted sell and overcharge. Tech wanted to exploit more money and he did not even explain why he is charging me 300 dollar for each spring and he is reluctant to talk about different options.

I needed my garage door springs replaced several years ago, since one had broken, and I was impressed with how the Precision technician (Jesse) arrived promptly and completed the work quickly so that I could get my car out of the garage to attend an important event. When my garage door opener malfunctioned this week, I call Precision again. I was pleased to see that Jesse was the technician. He was able to arrive earlier than had been anticipated, and he installed a new garage door opener very quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend Precision.

Noah came out and knew exactly what was wrong with my garage door. He explained everything to me and even showed me how to open and close the door as it needed a little TLC because of the age. He was fantastic all the way around and I really appreciate all that he did.

First, this 2 star review is not for the tech who repaired my door, Chris, who did a great job. It's for the nearly $1400 cost for a spring repair on a 6 year old door installed by Banko, a quality company. The spring broke at night while our cars were in the garage, so we were stuck. I chose Precision because of all their advertising as a "name you can trust" and same day service. They did respond promptly, thank you. I was advised all the bearings and rollers were in "fail" condition, so of course, I had to replace them - but the prices were crazy! With your cars in your garage and no way to open the door, you really can't shop around. I just wish they were a "name that was competitive".

On 31 May 2022 I attempted to leave for work and realized my garage door would not open. I looked up and saw that the handle had broken away from the door and I had to manually open the door to get my car out. I called Precision (I've used them in the past ) and was booked for a next day appt. As stated the tech (Daron) called ahead and arrived during the booked time. He did a thorough examination of my garage subsequently giving a detailed explanation of what happened. He provided me with three with 3 different options (explaining each) allowing me to determine what was best for me now and in the future. He even pointed out that his company has a policy of making payments in 3 equal installments (equivalent to 90 days same as cash) with no hits against your credit. He made the repairs within an hours time and my garage door is back to functioning properly with a SILENT opening and closing. Even though I rendered payment in full it was nice to know I had an option. If your looking for an honest, dependable company with exceptional service, I recommend using Precision. Carolyn L. We had been considering replacing our garage door for a few weeks and a spring broke on our existing door Sunday, the day before Memorial Day. We got on a wait list for Sunday, booked an appointment for Memorial Day. The customer service was excellent. Monday morning the tech - Jesse - called and said he was 20 minutes out; 20 minutes later he texted to say he was here. Jesse was awesome in many ways; as a car guy he understood the importance of not dinging my car, and he held the broken garage door up so I could get it out. He did a thorough assessment, gave us information along the way, and a recommendation that met our goals without breaking the bank. Instead of doing a door replacement he just replaced the moving parts (motor and chain excluded) and it works and sounds like new. And, Jesse is not only a solid professional, he's just a really good guy. We could not be more satisfied.

I wrote a review earlier with a 1-star rating. Well, I have to eat my words. They called and came back and even though they don't represent Lenear Garage door openers any longer, they honored the life-time warranty and installed a new rail and belt at no cost. Technically, even with a life-time warranty, I'm responsible for contacting the manufacturer and getting the part, and I would have been responsible for the labor to install (I was unaware of this the first time I wrote my review). But since they didn't repair the unit on their first visit, they did all of the work at no cost. Both technicians were helpful and knowledgeable. I couldn't be more satisfied. Thanks, Ralph

I have used Precision in the past for garage door maintenance and always was fully satisfied with technicians' service. Yesterday Stefan came to solve a problem we had with using remotes to open and close the door. He checked everything out, told me what caused the problem, showed me options for repair, and after I chose what I wanted, he took care of the problem. He then showed me features of the new motor and new remotes. I give Stefan an A+ for his work.
