Springs were replaced but for nearly $1000.00 which is extremely expensive. Some other minor parts were also replaced. I believe if I had gotten a second opinion it may have been repaired for less than what I paid.

Let me start by saying that every technician has been very friendly and professional, but I just don’t think I can rely on Precision again. Two years ago, I called to have a garage door dent repaired. It ended up looking worse after the technician attempted to fix it. Most recently, I opted to replace the entire panel. Because I had to leave and they were still finishing up after I paid the invoice, I didn’t get to see it from the outside. The panel does not match the rest of my door. I don’t see how Precision can stand behind this kind of work (I would share a photo but there is no photo attachment option). I am still waiting to hear back. I usually recommend companies with which I have a positive experience in a large south Tampa moms Facebook group that I am active in, but I don’t think I can because I have paid a lot of money to have a garage door that doesn’t look like it did before it was damaged.

Precision Door installed our new Hurricane rated garage door in 2019, but recently, I've been having problems with the safety beam feature on the overhead ceiling mounted drive unit. I was able to realign the beams, but the problem persisted. So I called on Monday morning (not any sort of emergency) and was able to schedule a technician for same day; and later got a call that they had availability earlier than my scheduled time, yeah! Tech resolved the problem (old unit had a failing circuit board), but since the unit was obsolete, we opted to purchase and install a newer WiFi enabled unit. Tech had a unit on his truck and was able to replace the old obsolete unit same day. And we were given a credit back even though the old unit was "out of warranty". Thank you,

Our garage door opener quit working after a lightning strike. We were able to reset by unplugging and replugging but the sensors apparently got zapped, which our service tech Adam Miechle diagnosed and replaced quickly. He then kindly synched our car button to opener. Something we could never accomplish. Precision is our go-to company and they never disappoint. Prompt response time, friendly and knowledgeable technicians at a reasonable charge. Very deserving of 5 stars.

I used to use the other company until I moved into my present home snd had garage door problems on a weekend. Precision had no problem coming to my rescue and have been available and helpful since then. They will continue to be my go to company as long as they exist.

Our Garage Door jumped the tracks late Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend. Precision Garage Door came out the next day. The technician was Sean Tufano. Sean was amazing, he was able to repair the door, adjust it and get everything working like new in a very short time. That’s saying a lot considering our door is over 30 years old. Sean is a professional, neat, though, and fast. Never any doubt as to the outcome, he went strait to work and brought the door back to like new specs. We intend on purchasing a new door system in the next few months, there is no doubt we will be calling Precision Garage Door. I highly recommend them, they are a quality company with quality people working for them.
