He made the appropriate repairs and adjustments and said to be sure and call anytime there was an issue with the operation of our garage door. Chris was courteous, competent, and kind! I had two springs and cables replaced on my single garage door. The estimate at the time of service was $649. I told the tech that I was going to seek some other bids, as I felt that was too high. He asked me what I thought it should be. I agreed to $500, based on web research and because it would save me time. The Tech (Charles) had to call his manager to confirm (which he did) Charles did a great job in the installation and explaining what was wrong. Took a little over an hour for the total visit. In retrospect, the final cost of the service was very high. The Amazon cost for high grade springs and cable is less that $150. Remember I was originally given an estimate of $649. Charles indicated that my door also needs new rollers too, but I won’t use Precision for that work. I’m sure I’ll be able to find a qualified garage door company that can do it for less than whatever Precision quotes. Final assessment - Responsive, courteous, good installation, solved the problem, but too expensive. Other companies are probably more price competitive. I would not use Precision again.
