BEWARE THIS COMPANY WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY…. We Needed help programming a new garage door opener, a neighborhood handyman said to call precision THIS was a huge mistake! He was here less than 30 minutes… (provided NO or needed any PARTS) He said the programming he did was not warrantied AND left wires hanging and didn’t program 2 of the remotes ALL for $250. The company doesn’t even give military discount!!! *BEWARE* don’t give a blank check to this company. They will rip you off.

Your technician was amazingly competent. Great guy. Did a really good job and very personable. I really can’t recommend you to anyone though, because my ass is sore from how horribly expensive you are! I should have shopped around more. My official rating is you suck… Don’t know how you have such wonderful people working for you though. Call center girl was great, technician was great, but prices!!:(((

Tech quoted a price to replace our garage door opener of $800, double the price we later got from Home Depot and Lowe’s. When I didn’t jump to agree with his price (nothing in writing offered) he asked me what I wanted to pay. Then he went back to his truck, he said, to phone his manager. After several minutes of waiting, we told him to “forget it”. No repair or replacement done.

Really it should be zero stars but the system required me to send a rating. I was almost completely ripped off by Precision. I called the company thinking it was service and name you can trust. The tech came out and told me my garage door system was destroyed and it would cost nearly $3000. I then called another company and they sent a tech out who repaired the system for an “emergeny” service fee of $300. I am incredibly disappointed by the sales tactics employed by Precision. I will never trust the company after this. It is deplorable.

The worst experiencetrying to replace a broken spring on my garage door. A technician named Craig Earle showed up and after he inspected the garage door he gave me an estimate on everything that he thought was wrong with my garage door. The price he quoted me was $2400 . When I said I only need the springs replaced for now to get the garage working, he said it will cost me $460 per spring for a total $1040 with labor. While he was still in my living room I made a quick call to Local Garage Door Services Inc. and they gave me a quote for $299. Quite the difference in the pricing. Craig was a crook who tries to take advantage of people. I would never recommend Precision to anybody. Please shop around before you do business with this company they are a bunch of crooks with no work ethics.

My fault for not looking at invoice closer was charged $760.00 for 20 4" rollers. Set of 10 on Amazon for $21.00. Could have had new doors for what was charged to fix ours.

Totally dissatisfied with technician who came. I asked for a written estimate and it was hand written on a notebook piece of paper and left with my nephew. Most shocking was the estimate of it being over $2,700.00 another company was called and it was fixed immediately for $129.00

The gentleman who helped me was very nice but tried to sell me something I didn't need. He was hoping I would purchase a brand new door opener for $1100. However, the cheaper option was changing out the electrical board. I went with the cheaper option and it worked! I asked for 2 additional remotes which I almost fell over dead when he told me they were $150 each with programming. Really, that is a bold face rip off. Unfortunately, I will never use your company again.

Was a customer on 2012so when my spring broke I called you. Your tech came out and wrote down 4 different prices on a plain sheet of paper ranging from $1200 to $2500. When I said all I wanted was the springs replaced he then gave me a price if $950!! Ridiculous and insulting! Did not purchase and had springs replaced with someone else for $250! This quote was a Blantant rip off! Your business practices really need to be revised! I will never call you back or recommend you! You lost a customer for ever!

Bad PCB for remote door opener. Bryan was great. He had the board and replaced it. Job done However, he quoted us an out the door price of $354.95. We agreed. When he presented the invoice they had added $49.95 reprogramming fee (what a joke) $25.85 shop supply fee (they didn't use any shop supplies) $20.00 transportation fee? None of these fees were mentioned earlier...... For a total of $400.80! $45.85 more than I was quoted 30 minutes earlier! I am a veteran and they didn't offer a veterans discount. So the service was great. The way they gyped me on the price was not. You will receive my lowest rating and bad referrals because of your ridiculous pricing scheme!

Tech Noah was amazing, cost of bearing plates and single spring bearing, not so much. Feel like I was raped. These items can be had on AMAZON for about $40. I was charged $180 for the plates and $80 for the single bearing. $260 total. Shame on me for not checking first. Be warned - Research parts cost online before you agree to have them installed.

Terrible first experience with this company! First off the technician didnt even know what he was coming to do. How do you show up at someones home to do a job but dont know what that job is. This was the first red flag. After my wife told him, all you doing to simple lubricating the garage door. He then came back with a outrageous price of $200. My wife explained to him; "we were quoted $89.95 in the beginning when the service was first booked a week ago, why did the price go up"? My home is 10 months old, new construction. For that price I could just do it myself. He then said; "he will take 1 door off and it comes down to $109". Plus $20 charge for fuel cost. My wife then responded : "that still not $89.85 then I was quoted and I shouldnt have to pay for your fuel cost. Your company should be paying that". After she proceeded to call the Precision office to clear this matter up. Then technician said "Okay, hold on dont worry about it. I'll just take the $89.95". $200 dollars to lube a 10 month old garage door is ridiculous. I literally could have did it myself. If I wasnt currently overseas with the miltary. Intentionally upcharging new customers for simply services is unacceptable!

I’m upset about what the tech sent out to my house and charged me $160.00 for 2 simple garage openers. I was told it would cost $39.95 each and I bought 2. The tech double charged me.This was a shock to me. I would like to know why I was overcharged and I would like a refund of $80. This is out ravenous and I will not call for additional service again unless I’m compensated. In Sept 2019, I believe I had work done that was quite expensive too. Springs etc for a 7 year guarantee. Please heck your records. Unsatisfied customer, Sandra Fisher 813 335 1932.

The technician was cordial in addressing our garage door opener repair. He stated I had a broken coupler and that my 6 year old springs needed replaced> Cost $690. That seemed expensive and I got a second opinion from another company. They felt I only needed the $5 coupler replaced and that tightening the springs would work for a while until I was ready to replace them. $85 cost. I had him then replace the springs at a cost of $200. That is $285 for the same repair Precision was going to do for $690. Precision was willing to change out our opener and install springs for $1295. The competition was willing to install a new opener that I bought at Lowe's for $125. $300 new wi-fi opener with installation $425. Really Precision! Taking advantage of retired couples should make you feel bad. I guess not since even though you did no work for me, you required a $50 service charge. Shame on you.

Precision’s customer service rep responded to my comment quickly. We discussed my dissatisfaction with the price of repair and the $50 service charge for coming to our house. She said that Precision felt bad about the estimate and was willing to return the service charge since we did not have any work done. That impressed me and I am thankful of their decision.

Started out as a single car garage spring needing replaced for $120 or i could pay more if I wanted a 5 year green spring. When technician arrived, he noticed cables were missing. I asked for a quote, but he wanted to measure spring first. I went ahead and called spring guy I use in Jax (Casey) and he said shouldn’t be an up charge. He says same amount of labor whether replacing cables or not and materials under $10. When I went back outside, the tech quoted me $100 for cables. When I pushed back, he asked his boss what they could do and lowered $100 down to $40. When I verbally confirmed The green spring would be warranted for 5 years, the technician said they wouldn’t warrant spring because other components weren’t new and would impact life expectancy of spring of ALL components weren’t replaced. I kindly asked him to leave.

I had a spring break on Saturday June 1st. I called Precision based on their commercials about quality service and fast response. They were not able to come until Monday afternoon June 3rd, but I figured that would be fine. When the tech arrived, he told my wife he would have to replace the whole system because the Wayne Dalton system was outdated and no parts were available. The garage door and system was only 5 years old. The quote was over $1,000. I sent him on his way and had another company fix it for $275. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

David Crowe was dishonest and lazy. He tried to upsell me a new opener for $795. rather the troubleshoot the unit. I refused to accept his recommendation for replacement. I had a competitor come out and they replace a $40 part. The collar on the shaft had broken. Ripping off senior citizens. David you should be ashamed of yourself. Precision Is this the kind of guy you want working for you?

After paying $884 for a repair I researched and found out your company is defrauding the public by selling parts that are needed for a simple repair. Another company came out and told me about shady business practices. Also saw a Dateline special about your techs, which ate actually "sales driven" associates presenting options for a repair. Shame on me for not doing my homework and researching your company before hiring, but shame you for thriving on deceptive business practices. I simply needed to repair a garage door panel and you sales guy, very nice and friendly, said the only way to fix the door was by replacing a bunch of unecessary parts. I'm surprised there isn’t a class action suit against your company for deceptive business.

Button in car is now working, although on my most recent attempt the door wouldn’t go up but by the time I found the remote, the door started up. I would say about a 2-3 minute delay.

I chose this company because of its high Google rating and the ability to come out on the same day. The repair was for them to come out and replace one of two Springs that were broken. The next morning when I operated the door I noticed it was much more quiet and worked very smoothly. I am writing the service as one star due to the negligence of the technician laying the power cord for the control box across the chain of the Drive Unit. Not only would this be considered a fire hazard but would also end up sawing through the power cord resulting in another repair. Thank goodness I noticed it in time enough to unplug it I relocated it to run under the unit as it should have been done by the technician and replug it in.
